What is Dekton?
Dekton is a man-made product that offers superior durability in both indoor and outdoor applications. Made in a process similar to that of porcelain tile, the surface and structure of Dekton is superior to any other countertop surface product on the market. It is stain, scratch, and heat resistant but the limits of Dekton supersede that of any other product.
Offering a large variety of colors, Dekton has multiple types of finishes to fit the look that you need for your project. Dekton is non-porous so it does not have to be sealed. Unlike other stone surface products, Dekton can only have a flat polished edge profile and the slabs are only 2cm thick compared to the standard 3cm for natural stone and quartz.
Although Dekton is still fairly new to the market, it is well on its way to becoming the next generation of premium stone countertops.
