What is quartzite?
Quartzite is a natural stone often times confused with the man-made Quartz material. Quartzite is a metamorphic rock that originated as sandstone. Like other natural stones, quartzite is extracted from a quarry and cut into slabs. These full slabs of Quartzite often times have a similar look to Marble but have extremely durable properties that Marble does not have. Quartzites are extremely hard materials that usually have fairly consistent properties and bigger veining patterns.
